Welcome to the Year of the Wood Snake
On January 29, 2025 we said good bye to the Year of the Wood Dragon and welcomed in the Year of the Wood Snake. Being a Dragon I was particularly affected last year. Upon reflection with my clients most of us experienced a year of construction with much change. We can view this past year as a building of the necessary foundations to support our upcoming transformation. This coming year will be one of conscious thought, change, and significant personal growth. The Snake, known for its wisdom, creativity, and calm nature, will inspire us to look inside ourselves, learn new things, and build stronger relationships. Forecast for the Year of the Wood Snake
In 2024, we entered Period 9, symbolized by the element of fire. As we move into another year of Wood in 2025, we must remain aware of the elemental relationships between the annual and the period elements. Wood is the mother of Fire, feeding it, as it will feed your inner fire in Period 9. This is a profoundly powerful combination that welcomes grounded action, flexibility, development, and inner peace.
The Year of the Snake teaches us profound self-improvement, encouraging growth from within and expanding our consciousness. It reminds us that becoming a better version of ourselves allows for greater flexibility, shedding rigidity, and embracing transformation. This year embodies a calm, knowing energy, showing us that change fosters growth and makes us better people. This enables us as empaths and lightworkers to strive for expansion within our collective consciousness.
Serpent energy invites vitality, healing, wisdom, intelligence, power, and a heightened spiritual awareness gained by embracing transitions openly. 2025 will contain major spiritual growth, as we move into this Golden Age, the Age of Aquarius, we will enter a higher level of consciousness. It’s all about transcending, ascending, and merging further with the rebirth of Period 9. This year we want to dedicate time to what is most important, honoring our sense of belonging and bringing in balance throughout all areas of our lives.
The intent of creating a Prosperity Bowl is to keep your intentions and vibrations high
so that you can manifest more wealth and abundance into your life.
The following are the basic concepts you can follow to set up your own Prosperity Bowl.
PREPARE THE SPACE
Clutter impedes the flow of energy. Clear out any clutter from your Wealth and Prosperity Feng Shui area.
Fix things that are broken or not working.
Discard anything that does not have a specific purpose or is no longer of use to you.
SET YOUR INTENTIONS
Pay attention to how you handle money on a day to day basis. Begin to treat your money with value and respect.
Take a look at your relationship with money. If you neglect your relationship with money it will neglect you.
Live in a world of abundance and be generous. Be generous within your capacity, if you don’t have money to share, give generously of your time, appreciation and compassion.
CURATING YOUR BOWL
A Feng Shui Prosperity Bowl is a curation of auspicious items. Select a bowl that is approximately six
to eight inches in diameter. As it will be on display, its important that it is in a place where you will see it everyday so be sure that you pick something you like. To cleanse your bowl, add a couple of drops of lavender essential oil to warm water and wipe down or wash the bowl.
Begin by filling the bottom with rocks, crystals, glass beads or anything that is shiny or attractive.
Now add golden ingots (Yuan Bao), coins, gold painted rocks or anything that represents money. Remember if you use traditional Feng Shui coins they must be placed with the Yang side up.
On top of your coins you will now place a Laughing Buddha (Happy HoiTai Buddha), Money Frog (Chan Chu), or a Lucky Cat (Japanese Maneki Neko with his paw raised up).
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
It’s important to keep your money bowl fresh and clean so feel free to add or remove things.
Each time you add an item to the bowl, place it in your hands one at a time and set your intentions to charge the item.
Place the bowl in a place where you will see it everyday so that it will remind you of your intentions to bring wealth, abundance and prosperity to your life.
